Storyboarder supports uploading your own custom assets, allowing you to bring in characters, objects, images, poses, and more to use across your Editor Files.
You can upload assets from the Upload button in the 3D View toolbar within the Editor
Multiple files can be uploaded at the same time, with the exception of character files which must be uploaded one at a time.
| Asset Type | Supported Formats |
|---|---|
| 3D Objects | .glb, .gltf |
| Characters | .vrm |
| Poses | .vrma |
| Images | .png, .jpg |
| Compressed | .zip |
3D Models - there is a maximum file size for 3D models, but uploaded models are automatically resized if they exceed it.
Images - maximum resolution of 2048 x 2048px. Images larger than this should be resized before uploading.
Once uploaded, assets appear in your My Assets library and are accessible from the relevant asset browsers in the Editor. Uploaded assets are available across all of your Editor Files.
To keep things organized, you can group related assets into Collections - named folders within My Assets that help you keep characters, props, and images for a specific project together in one place.
If you'd like to share an asset you've uploaded with the broader Sumugi community, you can submit it to the Asset Marketplace directly from My Assets.
Use .glb for 3D objects where possible. GLB is a compact binary format that keeps textures bundled within a single file, making it simpler to manage and upload than GLTF which may require separate texture files.
Use Collections to stay organized. If you're working on multiple projects, grouping your assets into named Collections makes it much faster to find what you need when switching between Editor Files.
